Chennai, January 26, 2022: Global Coconut Farmer Producer Company Limited (GCFPCL) a company (formed under FPO act) from Palladam, Coimbatore, started with a sole intention of raising the living standards of Cocunut farmers, is manufacturing a Natural drink called “THENNEERA” which was launched at a function held on 18th Janaury, 2022, under the august presence of Hon. Minister for Health, Thiru. Ma. Subramanian, Hon. Minister for Information & Publicity M.P. Swaminathan, Hon. Minister for AdiDravidar Welfare Thirumathi. N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, Thiru T.K. Jose, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt of Kerala and Dr.D R Karthikeyan, Former Director of CBI.
The company’s first direct sales outlet was inaugurated on 26th January, 2022 by Chief Guest for the function Mrs. T. Bala Sudhahari, Director, Coconut Development Board, Government of Tamil Nadu and Guest of Honour Mr .S. Thiagarajan, Chairman, Mudra Fine Blanc P Ltd & Chairman of SIMA at Precision Group Office, in Mount Poonamallee Road, just opposite to Chennai Trade Centre & commenced the first sale.
Speaking at the event Mrs. Bala Sudhahari said, “I am delighted to be part of this initiative by Global Coconut Farmers Producer Company and thank its Directors, Padmashri Dr. A. Sakthivel, Poppys Group; Mr. K. Balasubramanian, Chairman of Precision Group; Mr. Sky. V. Sundarraj Chairman Sky Group; Mr. P.K. Arumugam, Chairman, The Chennai Silks Group of Companies; and Mr. K.R. Nagarajan, Chairman, Ramraj Group of Companies for their whole hearted effort in introducing this unique product for the benefit of people; and also the various measures they have planned to improve the wellbeing of the farmer community. This natural health drink, which is zero alcohol, fresh & hygienic has multiple health benefits”.
After receiving the attractively designed and produced first tetra packet, which enables Thenneera to be stored in the ideal temperature without refrigeration, additives or preservatives, Mr. S. Thiagarajan said, “Products like these are need of the hour considering the pandemic situation we are facing now. Thenneera is a therapeutic drink and an instant energy provider with remarkable nutritional properties as it contains vitamin A & C which have antioxidant properties thereby preventing damage or death of cells. It is good for post-operative care due to the high content of electrolytes.” He added that very soon Thenneera will be the most-sought-after health drink by the people of Tamil Nadu and the introductory offer of Rs.1500 for 30 Tetra pack boxes makes it affordable to all sections of people.
