Chennai, September 2022: SIMATS School of Engineering donated a sum of Rupees ONE LAKH to the OORUNI Foundation, an NGO who function with an organized effort towards uplifting Education, Environment and Equal opportunity.
This fund was donated towards the “Give Their World” an initiative to support the differently abled and specially abled children in creating a welcoming environment for them, as well as to provide platforms for them to showcase their talents. In the presence of esteemed Dr. Ramya Deepak, Director of SSE, Dr. Ramesh, Principal of SSE, faculty and students of SSE, our respected Founder &Chancellor of SIMATS Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan handed over the cheque to the founder Dr. Rathinavel Rajan, founder of OORUNI Foundation and his team.
