Dr. S. Gurushankar, Chairman of Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre, conveyed his message appreciating the vision behind WRC 2025 and expressed pride in Madurai hosting a global platform that advances emergency and resuscitation sciences.
WRC 2025 is envisioned as far more than a medical conference. It is a convergence of some of the world’s most influential clinicians, researchers, educators, innovators, and policymakers in emergency medicine, trauma care, critical care, and pre-hospital systems. As resuscitation science evolves rapidly in response to cardiac arrest, trauma, toxicological emergencies, disaster response, and technological advancements, the congress offers an immersive platform to exchange ideas, share cutting-edge research, and refine practices that save lives across continents. This year’s theme, “Bridging Borders for Better Resuscitation,” calls for seamless knowledge exchange, cross-sector collaboration, and unified action to strengthen survival outcomes and ensure equity in emergency care globally.
The mission of WRC 2025 is clear and urgent: to improve patient outcomes and save lives by fostering innovation, strengthening clinical wisdom, and sharing global best practices. By bringing together experts and practitioners from diverse systems and specialties, the congress uplifts care standards for patients requiring resuscitative interventions, particularly in regions where access and awareness remain limited.
Over the four days, participants engage in a rich scientific experience featuring expert talks by senior and young faculty, 10+ hands-on life-saving workshops, leadership recognitions, and vibrant academic competitions including oral and poster presentations, simulation wars, and quizzes. This year proudly welcomes faculties from more than 20 All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and CMC Vellore, further enhancing the academic depth, national representation, and credibility of the congress. Every session is meticulously crafted to inspire critical thinking, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and nurture the next generation of leaders in resuscitation science. Beyond expanding knowledge, the congress builds meaningful partnerships that transcend geographical boundaries.
WRC 2025 is a call to learn, a call to lead, and a call to act. As we come together in the spirit of shared responsibility, we commit to lifting each other higher in the pursuit of better resuscitation for every community, everywhere.
