Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre Donates Oxygen Concentrators worth Rs 1.5 Crores and Rs 25 Lakhs to TN CM Relief Fund

Chennai, 2021: Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre (MMHRC) has donated oxygen concentrators worth Rs 1.5 crores to the State government, and Rs 25 lakhs to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund, today. Dr B. Kannan, Medical Administrator, met the Chief Minister Mr M K Stalin at the secretariat and handed over the cheque towards the relief fund.

In a statement issued by the hospital, Dr. S. Gurushankar, Chairman, MMHRC, said, “The entire Government machinery under the inspiring leadership of the Chief Minister is taking bold and effective steps to protect the people of the state from Covid-19 and is offering various kinds of relief to those affected by the pandemic. At this trying time, we stand by the government in its fight against coronavirus. At Meenakshi Mission Hospital, we are doing our best to provide treatment to Covid patients with utmost care and compassion. We are also creating awareness among the public to strictly follow the guidelines of the State Government in their best interest. We are sure that Tamil Nadu will emerge victorious in containing the pandemic very soon.”
