Amit Shah hails PM Modi’s historic step to introduce Women’s Reservation Bill

Chennai, September 2023: Union Home and Cooperation Minister AmitShah whole heartedly commended Prime Minister Modi for introducing the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha. He stated that alongside granting rights to women, Prime Minister Modi has also worked towards enhancing their respect.

As a result, this bill has been named the Nari Shakti Vandan Bill. Amit Shah emphasized that Modiji has elevated the worth of Indian culture and the nation’s democracy by implementing the principle ‘Yatra Naryastu Pujyante, Ramante Tatra Devta’ as mentioned in the scriptures.
It is worth noting that on 19th September, the Lok Sabha chamber of the new Parliament House saw the introduction of the Nari Shakti Vandan Bill.
AmitShah asserted that Modiji has demonstrated that women’s empowerment isn’t merely a slogan for the NDA government, but rather, it stands as the government’s unwavering resolution. “On behalf of millions of countrymen, I extend heartfelt congratulations to the Prime Minister on this historic occasion and also convey my gratitude to him on behalf of all the sisters and mothers,” said Shah.

Once this bill becomes law, women will not only have the right to reservation, but they will also play a pivotal role in propelling India towards self-reliance and development.

Sharing his sentiment son X (Formerly known as Twitter) AmitShah wrote –People all over India are rejoicing in the presentation of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act in Parliament. This showcases the Stead-fast dedication of the Modi government towards empowering women. Regrettably, the opposition seems unable to accept this reality. What is even more disheartening is that, except for mere symbolism, the Congress has never displayed genuine commitment to women’s reservation. They either let the laws lapse or their allies obstructed the introduction of the Bill. Their duplicity will always be evident, regardless of the maneuvers they employ to claim credit.
