AHEAD OF JAIPUR JEWELLERY SHOW 2025, THE ROADSHOW HELD IN CHENNAI

Chennai, 4 October: For the forthcoming mega jewellery show, Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS), a promotional roadshow, ‘JJS Synergy, was organised in Chennai at Hotel Taj Coromandel on 4 October. Jewellers from the city attended the roadshow. During the event, the Honorary Secretary of JJS, Mr Rajiv Jain, gave a presentation on the upcoming Edition of The Jaipur Jewellery Show, which in its 23rd year will be held from 19 to 22 December 2025 at Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre (JECC).

Presidents of  The Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association, Madras (MJDTA), Mr Jayanthilal Challani and President of the Chennai Jewellers Association (CJA), Mr Sultan Mohideen H were present in this JJS Synergy Meet.

In the presentation, Mr Rajiv Jain extensively talked about why the city of Jaipur is the choice for this event. He said that Jaipur has a rich tradition, as old as the city’s history itself, of the exquisite art of jewellery and gemstones. It is of little wonder that in a span of these 22 years, JJS has become an important annual fixture of the city of Jaipur. Giving further information about the show to the guests, he said that this year’s theme is “Coloured Gemstones”.

Talking about the history of JJS, he said that the show has come a long way from when it was launched in 2003 with 67 booths, to now having as many as 1200+ booths, with over 300 applicants still in waiting. Each year as many as 50,000 to 60,000 visitors, as well as international traders, visit and participate, he said.

Mr Jain also informed that looking to the requirement, the show is thoughtfully segmented to enhance the buyer experience, offering dedicated sections for focused purchasing.

Treasurer of JJS, Mr Kamal Kothari, offered the Vote of thanks by thanking all the dignitaries present at this meet.

It is to be noted that GJEPC, ICA, GJC, GIA, DTC, NJGCI, CIBJO, WFSB, RIO-TINTO, GEMFIELDS, IBJA, IGI and DGL have been prestigious partners to JJS, which is one of the very few  MSME registered gem and jewellery exhibition in the country.
