New Operations Facility in India Grows Antunes’ Ability to Serve Local Markets
Global foodservice equipment, water treatment and automation solutions manufacturer, Antunes of the
USA, inaugurates new manufacturing facility of ANTUNES NADI MANUFACTURING INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED
in Chennai, India. This new 43,000 sq. ft. operations facility accommodates plenty of space for expanding
capabilities. The Antunes Chennai inauguration will be held on Thursday, January 18th with a press
conference on Tuesday afternoon, January 17th at 4 PM IST.
“We were very strategic with the expansion of Antunes-Nadi in India. The Chennai location provides
access to shipping ports to help us better support our regional customers,” said Daniel Schmidt, Managing
Director of International Business at Antunes. “Chennai also has a hardworking workforce to help support
our growth initiatives.”
The new Antunes facility provides the opportunity to localize current product offerings as well as the
ability to manufacture additional products. Antunes expanded in Chennai to serve customers locally and
in the Middle East and Africa. This investment continues Antunes’ growth in the Indian market.
