Indian Awards 2024 by Indian Media Works Press conference was held at Quality in Sabari Hotel in T. Nagar, Chennai.
The event was attended by Indian Media Works MD John Amalan and Mr. Jayaseelan, IDAS – Controller of Defence Accounts (Ministry of Defence)as special guest and a Indian Awards 2024 recipients.
The Indian Awards 2024 awards were presented to those who are an inspiration in various fields including cinema, television, politics, social service, etc
During the awards ceremony, Indian Media Works MD John Amalan and Amaran film director Rajkumar Periyasamy presented a donation of ₹1,00,000 to the families of Indian Army soldiers who suffered physically while in service.
Indian Media Works MD John Amalan said that The Indian Awards 2024 ceremony was very successful this year and as a highlight of the ceremony, the award titled as Dynamic leader of Tamilnadu Politics was presented to Hon’ble Minister M. Mathiventhan.
Late actor Vijayakanth was presented the award titled as Greatest of all Time in Indian Cinema and his wife Mrs. Premalatha Vijayakanth received it on his behalf.
He also said that Mrs. Premalatha Vijayakanth presented the Puratchi Kalaignar Captain Vijayakanth Award to actor and choreographer Raghava Lawrence while Mr. Jayaseelan, IDAS – Controller of Defence Accounts (Ministry of Defence) was awarded as “Pride of Tamilnadu” for his best service in the Defense Sector
Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi President Thol.Thirumavalavan was awarded for Icon of Social Liberation & the award for Political Confidence of the Youth was given to Monishwaran from Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi.
Mr. John added that awards were given to people from various fields including cinema, media, social welfare, entrepreneurship, etc – and announced that in years to come the Captain Vijayakanth Award will be presented to well-deserving recipients ceremoniously.
He also emphasized that being a huge fan of actor Vijay, he has awarded many who have achieved tremendously in various fields. But importantly he wishes to award actor Vijay himself one day as the best political leader of Tamilnadu for his political activities in future. He strongly believes that this will come true one day when very soon actor Vijay will prove to be a celebrated political leader .
