Kauvery Hospital, one of the leading healthcare chains in Tamil Nadu, is seeing senior citizens from across the city and administering their dose of vaccine for COVID-19. Among them was a family with three generation women, aged 102 years, 74 years and 58 years respectively.
“The vaccine is safe and I urge everyone to take it immediately as I did,” said C.R. Kamalammal the 102 year old who was full of smiles during the entire vaccination procedure.
“It is really interesting to see so many senior citizens coming forward to take their dose of vaccines, and this particular family with the senior most person, is truly an example for other elderly people. The vaccines are safe and administered as per the government protocols and we insist more people to come forward and take the vaccine, in order to fight against the pandemic,” says Dr Aravindan Selvaraj, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Kauvery Hospital.Political leaders and celebrities have also been visiting the hospital to get their dose of the vaccine. Among them was actor cum politician S Ve Shekar, yesteryear actresses Latha, Sripriya, etc.
