Rotary International District 3234 recently hosted its annual Nation Builder Award ceremony, recognizing approximately 100 outstanding teachers from various educational sectors, including blind schools, special educators, teachers for the deaf and mute, and sports teachers ¹. The Nation Builder Award event, organized by the Literacy Team of Rotary International District 3234, aims to recognize and motivate educators who are making a difference ². This year’s ceremony was successfully executed by the team led by Rtn. Suguna Devi Murugan, Literacy Chairperson of RI District 3234, highlighting the district’s commitment to promoting literacy and education.

The ceremony was graced by District Governor Rtn. NS Saravanan and three esteemed chief guests: Col. Prof. (Dr) N.S. Santhosh Kumar, Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University; Mike Muralidharan, Chairman of Ethiraj College for Women; and Tmt. B. S. Vijayalakshmi, General Manager of DRO Tamilnadu corporation for Development of Women ³. Each teacher received the Nation Builder Award and a certificate, acknowledging their dedication and perseverance.
