Chennai, September 2022: The Department of Artificial Intelligence, SIMATS School of Engineering, SIMATS organised a two-day International Conference on Advanced Computing and Informatics “ICACI – 2022” on September 9th and 10th, 2022. Academicians, industry representatives, research scholars, and students from all over the world took part.
Through research presentations and keynote addresses in current technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Image Processing, and AR & VR, the conference aims to bridge the gap between academic researchers and other professionals.
Dr. Saravanan.M.S, Head – Department of Artificial Intelligence, delivered the welcome address. The honourable Dr. ChadaramSivaji, Vice Chancellor, SIMATS, inaugurated the conference and released the proceedings, and Shri. Karthikeyan SP, Senior Technical Director, MeiTY, National Informatics Centre, Govt. of India, delivered the Presidential Address. There were 253 papers registered, and 112 external participants participated, with 74 participants presenting in person and 38 participants presenting online.
