Chennai, December 2023: Kartik Fine Arts presented the premier show of Namaargam Dance Company’s ‘Sushupthi – Universe Evolves Bliss’, a Classical Dance Production by Krithika Subrahmanian on Sunday, December 10th 2023 at Sathguru Gnananda Hall, TTK Road, Chennai.
Sushupthi is the blissful state in which consciousness roams the universe separate from the mind, because of its separation from the world and worldly concerns, Sushupthi is a state of bliss and happiness. An exploratory dance production which is an exposition of the essence of the supreme divine.
Speaking about the premier show of Sushupthi, Krithika Subrahmanian, said “Sushupthi, showcases the mythology and evolution of Maha Vishnu in cycles. We have collaborated with professional dancers all over India for this show. We will be performing Sushupithi on January 2024 at RR Sabha Auditorium.”

Maha Vishnu in cycles of creation disruption and evolution – exponential and enduring manifestations in form and free spirit – Avatars the ever expanding and energetic path of evolution in bliss. The avatars of Maha Vishnu – The Great Universe is truly the unconscious pursuit of the spirits ultimate goal to evolve, to find union with the higher self.

About Krithika Subrahmaniam
Krithika Subrahmaniam, a reowned classical dancer of great virtue in the highly acclaimed Tanjore style of Bharatanatyam, has performed at world-renowned performing arts venues and for dance festivals such as the Delhi International Arts Festival, the London International Dance Festival, NJPAC, and MACH, to name a few.
In 2017, Krithika founded the Namaargam dance group, through which she has collaborated on works with musician Ilaiyaraaja, actor Suhasini Maniratnam and dancer Gopika Varma, orator Dushyanth Sridhar and more.
