The founders of Thangamayil Jewellery Limited inherited the business from their late father Shri. Balusamy Chettiar who carried out the trade in the name of Balu Jewellery. The business took on a new avatar as Thangamayil Jewellery Private Limited in the year 2000. Ever since it has grown exponentially, and was re-established as a public limited company in the year 2007.
