Chennai, June 2024: Titan Company Ltd announced the expansion of its retail footprint in Chennai with the grand opening of new brand outlets across their diverse product portfolio. The company launched its first-ever
luxury Helios store in the country, along with the 59th Tanishq store and 7th Taniera store in Tamil Nadu. These stores were launched by Mr. C K Venkataraman, Managing Director, Titan Company Limited in the presence of dignitaries from Titan Company Ltd, and other distinguished guests at Pondy Bazaar, T. Nagar.
The launch of new brand outlets marks a significant milestone in Titan’s ongoing commitment towards aggressive
retail expansion in FY24-25, particularly across emerging Tier I, Tier-2 and Tier-3 geographies.
The recent launches have expanded Titan’s existing portfolio, taking the overall exclusive brand retail touchpoints
in the state to 98 across Tamil Nadu. In the coming years, Titan is also planning to further strengthen their presence
in the region and is aiming to launch 100 plus stores across all divisions.

The launch of the first-ever luxury Helios store highlights Titan’s understanding of the growing demand for premium
segments in the country. This launch increases Helios’s presence in Tamil Nadu to 32 exclusive stores. Spanning
2,500 sq. ft., the store introduces seven new brands to the city: Milus, Earnest Borel, Charriol, U-Boat, Versace,
Herbelin, and Seven Friday. Chennai has emerged as one of the biggest growth markets for Helios in the Southern
region. The new Luxury store is expected to further boost these figures, reflecting the strong demand for premium
watch brands in the city. The expansion plans include three additional Helios stores in Chennai, contributing to the
overall growth strategy in the Southern region.
Additionally, Tanishq has launched its 59th store in the state. Covering 8,000 sq. ft., the store features an extensive
selection of Tanishq’s iconic designs, including plain gold, antique jewelry, stunning diamonds, kundan, polki, and
chozha coins. The store also showcases Tanishq’s festive collection, ‘Dharohar’, inspired by heirloom artifacts,
and ‘Kakatiya’, celebrating the legacy of the Kakatiya dynasty. Customers can explore the contemporary
‘GlamDays’ collection, the lightweight ‘String It’ collection, and the exquisite ‘Tales of Mystique’ featuring rare
diamonds and colored gemstones. The store also houses ‘Rivaah’, Tanishq’s dedicated wedding jewelry sub-
brand.
Meanwhile, bringing the best of Indian weaves under one roof, Taneira has launched its fourth store in Chennai
and seventh in Tamil Nadu. Spanning across an area of 5000 sq.ft, this store offers a seamless fusion of classic
and contemporary ensembles inclusive of handcrafted sarees along with a range of ready to wear blouses, kurtas,
short tops and more. Promising a captivating and unforgettable shopping experience, this store offers a dedicated
wedding zone featuring the quintessential Kanjeevaram sarees. Housing regional weaves such as South Silks,
Narayanpet, and South Cottons to the iconic Banarasis, Chanderis and more, Taneira Pondy Bazaar caters to the
varied needs of its discerning customers.
