TNATPO Talent India 6.0 Concludes Successfully in Coimbatore; Strengthens Campus–Industry–Global Collaboration

The Tamil Nadu Association of Training and Placement Officers (TNATPO) successfully concluded Talent India 6.0 – TPO–HR Leadership Connect, a national-level conclave focused on employability, workforce readiness, and industry-aligned education, held at Hotel Le Meridien, Coimbatore.

The summit was presided over by Dr. Ganesh Krish, President of TNATPO and Director – B.S.Crescent university, who also serves as the Founding Patron and General Secretary of the All India TPO Association.

The conclave featured Guests of Honour including Dr. K. Senthil Ganesh, Managing Trustee, RVS Educational Institutions; Dr. P. Krishna Kumar, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions; Dr. Thomas George K, Chairman & Director, LEAD College of Management, Kerala; and Dr. Ramesh Unnikrishnan, Nodal Officer, Department of Higher Education, Government of Kerala.

The one-day event brought together principals, Training and Placement Officers, HR leaders, policymakers, and industry experts from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and other regions. The summit featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, a Principal’s Round Table, and strategic MoU exchanges, aligned to the theme “From Degrees to Deployability.”

Summit Releases & MoU Exchange

As part of Talent India 6.0, TNATPO announced a series of major institutional and strategic milestones. A key highlight was the release of the TN Skill & Employability Index, with a special focus on the Kongu and Kerala regions, offering data-driven insights into regional skill readiness and employability trends for academia, industry, and policymakers.Research & Content by iGizmo 

The conclave also witnessed the release of SPARK, a national-level student magazine published by the TNATPO – Successverse ,aimed at empowering students and educators through career-focused knowledge in both print and digital formats.

In addition, TNATPO formally launched the TNATPO Next Gen Student Chapter, an initiative designed to engage students early with industry exposure, employability skills, and leadership development. The TPO Global Connect initiative was also introduced to promote international collaboration among academia, industry, and government bodies worldwide.

A landmark international MoU was signed with the Commonwealth Students Association, in partnership with Audacious Dreams Foundation (GUSD) and member institutions, to establish Centres of Excellencefocused on skill development, employability, youth leadership, and sustainable development aligned with UNICEF initiatives and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Speaking at the event, TNATPO leadership stated,

“Talent India 6.0 is not just a conference—it is a movement to transform placements from transactional outcomes into long-term career readiness.”

Industry leaders emphasised the growing need for job-ready graduates with practical skills, adaptability, and industry exposure, while a senior academic leader noted,

“The Principal’s Round Table created an honest and much-needed dialogue on how institutions can redesign placement strategies aligned with industry realities.”

Further strengthening global and industry alignment, TNATPO signed strategic MoUs with Physics WallahBritish Council, and Cambridge (South India) to enhance technical training, English communication standards, and international academic benchmarking—aimed at improving student deployability and global career readiness.

The conclave concluded with the TNATPO – Talent India Emerging HR Excellence Awards 2026, recognising organisations and leaders for excellence in placement innovation, skilling initiatives, and industry engagement, followed by the valedictory address and networking.

TNATPO reaffirmed its commitment to building future-ready talent ecosystems by continuously connecting academia, industry, and policymakers through sustained, action-oriented platforms.
